How Expensive Are Pitchers At Jazz In The Gardens

    Get there early, around 5 to secure a location on the lawn. The shaded areas go fast. You can not take any alcohol in- there are bag checks. The sangria that is sold there is good. Pitchers are $18.

    Music was good, atmosphere and beer were better. Get there early to grab space under the trees for shade and buy the pitcher of beer and/or wine, better deal than the cup.

    A must for everyone in DC at some point. Bring your own blanket. If the crowds are too much, the acoustics across the street on the Mall are pretty good and you won't have to fight for real estate.

    Get to the jazz garden early and sit near the tidal basin. Sangria is sweet but it's the perfect weather to enjoy jazz and people watch.

    They actually don't play live music. Its just some guy with a bunch of CDs. No one ever comes for the bands so they just got rid of them I suppose
