Former Better Homes and Gardens landscaper Jason Hodges to sell his North Ryde home
Former Better Homes and Gardens landscaper Jason Hodges has listed his amazing North Ryde property, just months after being axed from the popular lifestyle television program.
The heritage listed residence is being sold through McGrath Willoughby with a price guide of $1.9 million.

The character-filled four-bedroom home has undergone an incredible transformation in what is believed to have been a labour of love for Hodges and partner, Lisa, a horticulturalist.
It is now set among beautiful landscaped gardens with hedging, lawns, retaining walls, stepping stones and topiary trees. There is an inviting plunge pool behind a glass fence, water features, hardwood decking, fixed barbecue and a pizza oven tucked away in the corner of the extraordinary backyard.
"Everyone who has inspected the house has stood on the driveway looking back at the house and commented on how stunning it is," said agent John McManus.
"It just feels like something you would expect to find in the Southern Highlands. When you arrive at the property, it is like you are visiting family in the country."
The gardens can also be enjoyed from the wrap around veranda at the front of the home. Hodges, who has won medals at the Chelsea Flower Show and Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, has also included a separate man cave.
According to CoreLogic RP Data, the television host purchased the 905 sqm property in February 2011 for $685,000 and embarked on a complete restoration.
The front of the home dates back to 1887, while a rear extension is believed to have been added in 1910.
The couple, who have two children, have retained many period features inside the home such as exposed brick work, pressed tin ceilings, timber flooring and working fireplaces.
The heritage of the home is highlighted through elegant furniture and detailed finishes including vintage pull down light cords with tassels.
Most of the renovation was completed in 2014, however, a new kitchen was added last year. Among its features is a large stone island bench, concrete flooring, stainless steel cooker and mirrored splashback. Antique barn doors slide back to reveal a combined butler's pantry and laundry.
One of Mr McManus' favourite areas is the main bathroom with freestanding tub, an open shower and a decorative original fireplace.
"It is just stunning, to me, he has really thought about keeping the character of the home but also creating something special," he said.
"You could be sitting in the bath on a Friday afternoon with a glass of champagne and the candles going, it is just delightful."
It is believed Hodges, who owns property in Berry on the NSW south coast, is planning on making a treechange with his family.
The popular landscaper was reportedly "gutted" when he was axed from Seven's flagship lifestyle program in December last year after two decades.
He was replaced by landscape designer and television presenter Charlie Albone who moved to the program from Foxtel's Selling Houses Australia.
